Initial research includes – X-rays and CT-scans made in collaboration with Dr Katy Szczepura, Medical Physicist and Claire Mercer, Radiographer alongside Electron Microscopy images and analogue photography.

Experimentations with cyanotypes and interview with Kathryn Millar biologist at Greenpeace reveal the focus of this stage of the project – weeds and their importance for pollinators –

The project initiates –

A call to inaction

Nature needs weeds

Insect numbers are in decline

Action as inaction

Leave sections of your garden wild

Only sow UK-native wildflower seeds

Nature will reclaim space

Let’s create an insect corridor of weeds across the land
